The Solar Barn was born out of a desire to live more sustainably and to create a low pollution/carbon/impact on the earth, and to lead the way in sustainable practices, with the belief that we can implement changes in our lives.

On Monday the 7th of May The Bay of Plenty Polytechnic Zero Waste students did a tour of The Solar Barn. We had 32 eager students learning about waste managment at The Solar Barn.
